Stonehaven Dental’s gift of a free day of dentistry will be held on Saturday, May 3rd, 2008 from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, providing free fillings, extractions, cleanings and X-rays for people who need the help. This year’s event will be the first annual “Dentistry From The Heart” event for Stonehaven Dental.
We are out to change lives by offering free smiles to anyone who needs dental work, as we host the latest event for Dentistry from the Heart.
Dentistry from the Heart (DFTH) is a national non-profit organization with a simple mission – making people smile. Founded in 2001, by a dentist in New Port Richey, Fla., DFTH was created to aid those in need, including the growing population of underinsured Americans. Over 100 million Americans lack dental insurance, and over 29 percent of adults have untreated cavities. Without events like DFTH, dental care simply isn’t an option for many of the uninsured. To date, DFTH has helped over 5,000 patient and provided over $1 million in dental care.
“Now more than ever, I know there’s people out there who need our services, but have no means to afford them – whether they’re out of a job, or just don’t have dental insurance. This Dentistry from the Heart event is our way of giving back to the community, and being there for people who are in need of dental work” says Dr. Tobler.
The event will take place on Saturday, May 3rd at Stonehaven Dental in Lehi, UT. Registration will start at 7:00 am. Starting at 8:00 a.m. we will be treating patents until 4:00pm.
