Free Dentistry Day

Hundreds of Utahns never visit a dentist because they simply can't afford it. Each year Stonehaven Dental along with many other volunteers and sponsors offer a day of free dentistry. People who need to to have their teeth seen and cared for but can't afford it can come in and get care.

When

Saturday, May 5 from 8 a.m. to 12 noon.

Who is Eligible

Because so many people come to get care on Free Dentistry Day, we have to move fairly quickly. In order to do that we only serve patients 16 and older on Free Dentistry Day. If you have a child who needs dental care but you aren't able to afford to get it for them, please visit http://health.utah.gov/chip/ .

Services Available

Free Dentistry Day patients can choose one of the following services:

1. Cleaning
2. Tooth Extraction
3. Filling

In order to serve as many patients as possible, we're only able to offer one service to each patient. It's important to remember that in extreme situations, the dentists who give their time on Free Dentistry Day may recommend further treatment and even refuse a filling in cases where a root canal is indicated.

Volunteers

We need all kinds of volunteers for Free Dental Day. If you're a dental professional or just someone 18 or older who wants to help, please call Dominic at 801-701-9012. We'd love to have you join us. In addition to certified dental professionals, we need ushers, escorts, and others to make Free Dental Day happen.

We need food, dental care products, chairs, tables, signage, and more. We like to send each patient on his way with a small gift back full of helpful items.
